Leo Kris Palao is an Environmental Modeller and specializes in applying data analytics to geographic
information system (GIS) and remote sensing for targeting and prioritization of climate change adaptation at
local-, landscape- and national-scale.

As an environmental modeller, his research interests is on developing approaches, tools, and data-driven models to plan adaptation strategies, mitigate the impact of climate change, and support watershed planning using ecosystem-based approach.

He provides support to the capacity building initiatives of GrIDS thru designing tailored training materials for different clients (LGUs, private sectors, and academe). He also makes sure that training materials are up-to-date, relevant to the needs of the clients, and innovative in addressing contemporary issues in environment and development.
